    Allene McArthur Price, 78, passed away on March 13, 2023 in Centerfield, Utah.  She was born on September 15, 1944 in St George, Utah to Eldon and Denise Dalton McArthur.
    Allene graduated from Dixie High School where she was active in the FHA, Pep-Club, and school choir - having a beautiful alto voice.  She attended Dixie Junior College, earning her Associate Degree.  While at Dixie Allene was actively involved in the Lamba Delta Sigma. She later attended the College of Southern Utah (SUU), studying Elementary Education.  Allene married Marvin D Price on March 18, 1967 in the St George Utah Temple.  They later divorced.
    Allene lived most of her life in Wyoming and Idaho where she participated in the owning and operation of family cattle ranches.  Allene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings.  She loved the Book of Mormon and sharing the gospel with anyone she came in contact with. She read all kinds of books, newspapers, magazines - anything within her reach.  She memorized poetry, enjoyed family history, doing crafts, collecting dragons and dream catchers, eating chocolate, Baby Yoda, cats, birds, rescuing animals and most of all visiting with people.  She was appointed greeter and welcoming committee at the Mission at Community Living, where she spent the last several years.
    Allene is survived by her children: Tyler M (DeAnn) Price, Price, UT; Meredith (Marc) Fairbanks, Tooele, UT; JaNiece Price, Pocatello, ID; Kate (Charles) Porter, Guernsey, WY; Marianne (Lucas) Nicholes, Ely, NV.  She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and her siblings: E Durant (Virginia) McArthur, Janice (Bruce) Hepworth, Daniel (Bunny) McArthur, Samuel (Gai) McArthur, Marianne (Douglas) Barton, Kim (Hayven) Dunn, Joseph McArthur. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Denise McArthur.
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Manti Tabernacle.  Friends may call prior to services at the church from 9:00-10:30 a.m.  Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery.  Live streaming of the services and online guestbook available at www.maglebymortuary.com under Allene’s obituary.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
