Allene Haws

Helen Allene Osborn Haws, 89, passed away February 13, 2017 in Loa. She was born May 16,1927 in Torrey, Utah , to Riley Reeze and Lucy Erma Nixon Osborn . She married Jim Peters Haws July 13, 1947 in Las Vegas. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death October 4, 2016.
Allene was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. While camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities, you could find her out hunting for rocks. She enjoyed gardening, doing all kinds of puzzles, reading, and playing cards.
Allene is survived by her children: Jimmie (Cheryl) Haws, West Valley City; Kim (Bill) Dean, Rockland, ID; Kerlyn J Haws, Torrey; Jason R. (Cathryn) Haws, Torrey; Brother; Carl James Osborn. 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also preceded in death by parents; brother, John R. Osborn.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Torrey LDS Ward Chapel, 89 East Main, where friends may call at the ward chapel in Torrey on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Torrey Cemetery.
