Alfred Foster

Alfred Lee Foster, age 90, passed away at his home, December 6, 2013, surounded by his family. Al and his twin brother, Roy, were born October 21, 1923, in Longmont, Colorado, to Arthur and Jo Foster. They soon moved to Bristow, Oklahoma where Al spent his childhood years. He graduated from Bristow High School. He later graduated from Kansas City Art Institute, majoring in Ladies fashion design.
Al spent 4 years in the U.S Navy during WWII.
He married Leda Mae Davis, August 7, 1956, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized March 12, 1966, in the St. George LDS Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Leda; children: Michelle Perkins, Alfred Foster, Neil Foster; twin brother, Roy Foster; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dwayne; sister, Joretta; parents- in-law, Billy and Minnie Davis; sister and brother- in-law, Holbert and Bonnie Smith.
As Al requested, a small family and friends gathering will held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Foster’s Family Restaurant, for he did not like large funerals. Burial will be in the Widtsoe Cemetery with military rites by the Bryce Valley American Legion Post #18 and Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti
