Alda Hinton Murphy, 96, passed away July 2, 2017 in Richfield, Utah. She was born March 25, 1921 in Hurricane, Utah to William Nutter and Mary Workman Hinton. She married James V. Murphy May 20, 1946 in Salt Lake. The marriage was solemnized June 2, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death February 18, 2007.
She is survived by her children: Margaret (Bruce) Messick, Centerville; Maureen (Todd) Huffaker, Centerville; Shannon (Brent) Jensen, Gunnison; Michael (Carolanne) Murphy, Centerville; 16 perfect grandchildren & 51 great-grandchildren; brother, Gail (Nita) Hinton, Hurricane.
Also preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Marion, Carlon, Delmar; sister, Lena Mae Judd; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Parrish Heights Ward Chapel, 610 N 100 E, in Centerville, where friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
