Ada Dean "Trim" Ramsay Mattison, 95, peacefully passed away in her sleep on January 25, 2017 in Cupertino, CA, from causes incident to age. She was born at home, in Richfield, on May 10, 1921, to Don Carlos and Carrie Hermansen Ramsay. She graduated from Richfield High School in 1939.
Trim met Lawrence "Laurie" Mattison after the Army Air Corps sent him to Richfield for training during WWII. They were married May 1, 1944 and shared 58 years together until his death, February 1, 2003. They especially enjoyed summers at their Fish Lake cabin with family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Laurie (Cindy), Avila Beach, CA; Mary (Tom) Courtney, Twin Falls, ID; Richard "Rick" (Linda), San Francisco, CA; daughter-in-law, Cecilie Mattison, Holladay, UT; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Nea Ramsay, Richfield.
She was also preceded in death by her son, John; daughter, Carol Dupell; brothers: Don and Jim (Shirley); and sister, Helen Madsen.
Private graveside services for Trim will be held in the Richfield City Cemetery.
