Adam Davis
Ephraim, Utah
It is with great sadness that the family of Adam Dwight Davis announces his passing on January 23, 2023, at the age of 61. Adam was born on December 12, 1961, to Nola Dutton Davis and John B Davis in St. George. He was the middle child and made sure no one ever forgot him. He spent most of his youth in Kanab before moving to Ephraim where he attended Manti High School.
Adam loved being in love but was not lucky in love. He married Latricia Shaw in 1979 at the tender, naive age of 18. They had two boys, Dwight Jack and Chance Lynn, before divorcing. He made another trip down the aisle and married Julie Denaeyer. They also had two children, Aubree Joann and Austin Dean before later divorcing. He never married again but continued to break hearts.
Adam was a jack of all trades. He worked as an auto mechanic, construction worker, and farmer. His real passion in life was fishing and collecting guns. He could often be found in the mountains or beside a river, enjoying nature or disturbing it, depending on whether the day called for fishing or shooting.
Adam is survived by his mother, Nola; children: Dwight, Chance, and Aubree (Jesse) Goodrich; grandchildren: Charlie (Tabitha), Dwight “Bubba”, Harley, Theo, Braelyn, Mahayle, and Madeline; great grandchildren: Serena and Chrystiana; sister, JoVona (Lynn) Seely; brothers: Kenferd (Connie); Zan (Dee); Robert (Angie); and sister-in-law Janna Davis.
Adam is preceded in death by his father, John, his son Austin, and his brothers Larry and Marco.
At Adam’s request he will be turned to dust and a celebration of life will be held in his honor when the rivers thaw and the fish start to bite.
