1972 - 2014
Robert Lynn Lund, 41, passed away January 24, 2014 at the VAMC in Salt Lake City. He was born October 22, 1972 in Richfield to Ronnie Lynn and Georgia Louise Bird Lund. He married Marie Christensen, November 16, 1991 in Aurora.
He was raised in Aurora and graduated from North Sevier High School. He joined the Utah National Guard, and served two deployments with the Army into Kuwait as a radio tech, combat medic and was a battlefield observer. He has served as a commander of the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050 and has assisted in parades and funeral details.
After he returned, he was an EMT with the Sevier County EMS for over 10 years. He loved working with his hands and has been a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, boating, horse and Razor riding. He was a member of the LDS Church.
He is survived by his wife Marie of Richfield; children, Thomas Lund, Victoria (Spencer) Allen, Tina Lund all of Richfield; parents of Aurora; siblings, Riley (Kjersten) Lund of Salina, Amanda (Jeremey) Yetter of Riverton. He is preceded in death by a brothers, George Bird and Flint Lund.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Marysvale Cemetery with military rites by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050 and the Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
